A brightly colored tweed is the perfect yarn for a simple knit cardigan. The body is knit as one piece to the armholes, and the garter stitch buttonbands are added in finishing. The set-in sleeves are sewn in with a gathered shoulder.

Gauge 15 sts and 23 rows = 4" in St st

• Size 9 (5.5 mm) needles, plus circular in any length for bands
• Six 1¼" buttons
