Leaf & Picot Cardigan

This cardigan is the perfect layering piece for unpredictable spring weather.  Worked  in a leaf lace pattern, it is finished off with a pretty picot edging.


Designer: Laura Grutzeck
Finished Size: 33 (36, 39 3/4, 44 1/2, 46 3/4, 53 3/4)" bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 39 3/4", modeled with 7" ease.
Yarn: Harrisville Designs Silk & Wool (50% silk, 50% wool; 175 yd [ m]/50 g): pale daffodil, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9) skeins.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm). Finishing—size 4 ( mm): 36-40" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; waste yarn; spare needle.
Gauge: 21 1/2 sts and 30 rows = 4" in leaf lace patt. on larger needles

Me too- I'd love to see a chart for this pattern.

 I am working on the pattern now and I feel that a chart would make it easier to follow the repeats due to the decreases in it.

I'd like to see a charted pattern for the lace!  This garment looks a lot like the Serrano sweater from Knitty!

It's really too bad that you didn't show that front view (above) in the magazine.  No where did it mention that the sleeves were 3/4 and the view in the magazine make it almost impossible to see.
