This is a lace scarf I began knitting with a skein of yarn my sister gave me last year for my birthday. I'm hoping to have it done by my birthday this year - in May. Setting a goal!
Its not a stocking stitch (knit one row, purl the next), at least from what I see. There are eyelets throughout. It is a beautiful colour as well as the pattern goes nicely with the stitches.
Beautiful! Hope you finish it in time for your birthday. What is the pattern? I am pretty new to knitting, but that looks like a loose knit 1 row, purl one row? I like it. How many did you cast on? BjoLiz
