I am an experienced knitter, but I can't make sense of these instructions. I think it's very cute, but I need help understanding the instructions if I am to make it work. In making size 35, when I get to the point of joining in the round, I only have 232 stitches. In other words, I have only been able to increase the 8 stitches every four rows four times instead of seven times. If someone can explain this to me, I would really appreciate it! I bought some lovely yarn, and might have to make something else with it.
