Hollyberry Bonnet and Cape

Matching bonnet and capelet perfect for any little girl who likes to play dress up. Bonnet is worked with simple short-row shaping and tied with a pretty ribbon; capelet is worked from side to side with simple short-row shaping and cable detail.

Finished Size Bonnet 13¾(15, 16)" from front edge around back of head to front edge at widest point and 8½ (10, 11)" tall. Bonnet shown measures 15" around.
Finished Size Cape 27¾ (33, 38¼ )" lower edge circumference, buttoned. Capelet shown measures 33".
Yarn Bonnet Valley Yarns Berkshire (85% wool, 15% alpaca; 141 yd [129 m]/100 g): #17 wine, 1 (1, 2) ball(s). Yarn distributed by WEBS.
Yarn Cape Valley Yarns Berkshire (85% wool, 15% alpaca; 141 yd [129 m]/100 g): #17 wine, 2 (3, 4) balls. Yarn distributed by WEBS.
Needles Sizes 9 (5.5 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 24" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Bonnet Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle; two ¾" buttons; 40" of 1½" wide velvet ribbon to match bonnet; sewing needle and matching thread; pin (for attaching ribbon).
