Yarn Spotlight:
Eunny and Clara are back in the Knitting Lab to dissect heathered wool. A fall classic, this wool has a natural look and great characteristics for a variety of uses. Featured on this Yarn Spotlight is Harrisville Design's Highland yarn and Halcyon Yarn's Geo Rug Wool. The Geo Rug wool is a strong, single-plied yarn without a lot of twist that tends to soften after washing. The Highland yarn comes in both skeins and cones and is 100% Sheltand wool that keeps its heathered look even after dyeing. Both these classic yarns come in a variety of colors, including the heathered skeins and swatches seen here. Also seen on this episode is Pear Tree's super soft wool (purple and teal).
