Hey!
I am SO excited!! I am going to knit a pocho, purse, and a backpack VERY soon!! First the backpack, then the poncho, then the purse. They are all very cute patterns!
7/22/09 9:23 I started the backpack. I have the straps done, and the start of the gusset. I need to learn intarsia for it, but that's ok. : ) I still have to make the front, the back, and the rest of the gusset, but otherwise I am doing fine. I need one yard of cotton lining fabric, and I am planning to enter this in the fair. I am very excited because this is the first time I have ever done something by a pattern. Plus I have to use a chart. It is going to be blue with a monkey in the middle. I am SUPER DUPER excited to get this done 'cuz then I can carry my other knitting progects around.
8/8/09 8:30AM I finished the gusset and the top front. I am now doing the lower front and I am doing the monkey face. I never did intarsia and I went to the yarn store and learned how. I have a couple rows done. : )
8/26/09 3:48PM I finished the gusset, straps, and back. Those are all finished. But, I started the front and learned intarsia, and started the front, and got half way. I didn't get to enter it into the fair, cuz I didn't have it finished in time. I even had my zipper and a lining fabric........
