I'm a middling-age social worker with an on/off passion for knitting. It's a little harder to get excited during 100+ degree Texas summers! Lately I've been doing the requisite holiday knitting - frantic nights spent in front of old episodes of Monk (Natalie has really cute sweaters) while knitting furiously 'til the wee hours. My favorite projects are socks - nothing is more satisfying or interesting (in my opinion). They are also tremendously portable!
