Hi there, I am excited to be part of this fun group! I live in Nicholasville, KY. I am single, 58 years (not old!) and a Registered Nurse who learned to knit while working as a travel nurse for the last 6 years. I don't get to knit too often, but I am thrilled to have access to many wonderful yarn shops along my travels to different US states. I have made many of the usual scarves, hats, shawls and dish cloths, but I flounder in trying to make socks or sweaters. If anyone knows a way to teach me sock knitting in VERY simple instructions, I will knit and send you my first pair! hehehe! There are 4 wonderful yarn shops near where I live and I keep buying lots of yarn for projects that I haven't started yet. I can't help myself. When it comes to all these new beautiful yarns, I just have to have them...anyone else like me? :)) Anyway, hope to hear from you soon and learn some new techniques.
