I am obsessed with knitting. According to my husband, I knit too much (as if such a thing were possible!), but I believe that knitting is the best therapy that money can buy. I currently publish two blogs, Dropped Stitches about knitting and life, and Adventures in Depressionland, which covers a large variety of topics related to depression. My house is filled with 4 children, 4 cats, and a wonderful husband who would rather talk muscle cars than fiber choices and the merits of metal vs bamboo needles. I used to practice pediatrics, but increasing hours with decreasing pay led to total job dissatisfaction. A domestic goddess for 2 years, I'm now looking for my new place in the working world now that my youngest is a toddler.
