My Twin Grandma blankets

Thanks very much for your comments, Jaime. The twins are actually our 4th and 5th grandchildren and they are about to walk any day now...they'll be a year old July 4! I love both knitting and crochet and I've made it my passion to pass on the tradition taught to me by my grandmother as often as possible. But I, too, have a hard time (as it seems we all do) finishing things that take too long. However, one that I did finish over 10 years ago is still going strong. I made a long, knit cabled cardigan with a beautiful Fair Isle pattern at the bottom and cuffs for my sister's 50th birthday. She still tells me that she never wears it to work or anywhere else without getting compliments on it and she loves it. Because it took quite a bit longer to finish and had a more intricate pattern, I guess I have to say that maybe I'm more pleased with having finished that one and that it came out so well.
