I live in Casper, WY and have been a knitter over 3/4 of my life, having taught myself at the age of 12. I am dominantly left-handed and knit both "English" and "Continental" styles interchangeably. I had a short period when I didn't knit but took it up again while at college. Since then, I've never looked back. I knit anytime and anywhere and always have a project with me. My tag line on a men's group is "Books, cats, knitting, fountain pens...Life is good." I also do many other fiber arts and have been dubbed "My knitting guru" by a good friend. I find it something to be proud of but don't know how true it is. I feel I learn as much from others as I have taught them. I am also an identical twin and find myself the opposite of my brother in many ways: handedness, political outlook, etc. I am also involved in social change issues and have enjoyed studying political science (as an amateur) for over 30 years.
