I'm a recently retired kindergarten teacher of 27 years. I live out in the country, in south Texas, with the love of my life hubby of 38 years and two boxer dogs. We have one grown son, who is a paramedic. I love to spin, weave, make Victorian hats, read and write. I've had four books published in years past, three for children and one historical romantic novel. I've traveled and lived in many places due to my hubby being in the USAF, but am happy to be back in my home state of Texas. My sign in name is partly because I am a milliner and create handmade Victorian reproduction hats and also because it's my SASS alias, if you're familiar with SASS. If not, it's a fun, safe, family oriented cowboy action shooting sport where everyone wears outfits representative of days in the 1800's and shoot targets on ranges set up to resemble the old west.
