&lt;p&gt;I answered that question earlier in the KAL thread, but it&amp;#39;s probably pretty far back, now, so here&amp;#39;s the answer again: Cookie A. was obsessed with the lace pattern, so she finally designed a sock pattern around it to &amp;quot;get the monkey off her back.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
