Originally French Canadian, both my parents were committed craftspersons; my dad taught me to knit, sew & crochet as my mum was left-handed. I lived throughout the US, in China, and have been in Australia for 12 years. I have an MBA & training in 2 medical specialties; I was State CEO of Health when disability forced me to retire at 50. Sadly, complex health problems limit my knitting to at most 20 minutes/hour a few hours a day. After 37 surgeries I know these are my limits, but I have an extensive stash, a very comprehensive library and, when I am well enough, I love to browse for patterns. I am also on the Board of the Australian Pain Management Association.
