Hi, I'm Aletta Buonaccorsi from sunny California. Actually Northern California which isn't quite as sunny. Santa Rosa, just north of San Francisco. My husband gave me the name craftcat and it fits. I am always making something and we are volunteers for Forgotten Felines. We also currently have six cats.
I learned to knit from a friend and coworker about thirty years ago. Made a couple of scarves and hats and got distracted by life and other crafts. I started knitting again just before I retired 3 years ago. I made so many scarves that friends and family didn't need (nor want) any more so now I donate them to our local homeless shelter. I've gotten pretty good at knitting scarves; won first place for a scarf at our local county fair. Also won first place for a knitted rug.
