The stitch guide for the leaf pattern is at the top of the pattern, to the right of the picture, and directly below the title, "Bella Blouse." It's written in words, not charted. Confusing, I know. Diana

Sunny, are you using Berroco Linsey in Pomegranite? That's what I ordered, too--it's bit darker and more orange than I anticipated, but I think it will fade a little when I wash it. The Berroco Glint in Godess has a metallic copper thread that...
  • Re: The Official Bella Blouse Knit-Along Forum

I'm sorry, but all of your instructions are incorrect. Remember, you are knitting row one on the "wrong" side. Here are how the first two rows should read in word directions: Row 1 (WS): (start with yarn behind rt ndl) YO, P2tog, P, YO,...

Yeah! Thanks to the help of some of the KAL gang, I just successfully finished my first repeat of the pattern! Now if I only had my yarn I want to use! Hurry up, mailman! This is what I used. If anyone spots errors, let me know. (Publishing earlier wasn't...
  • Re: The Official Bella Blouse Knit-Along Forum

Look at your odd rows, row 3, 5 etc. you have K1 after the P2 tog and it is P1...remember on a wrong side row (odd rows in this case) the empty square or blank sqare is P1 not K1 sooo.....you have your K1s and P1s mixed up on odd or WS rows Lynne aka...

  • Re: The Official Bella Blouse Knit-Along Forum

Sunny, I've read that the yarn can twist when you knit in the round, and I've also read that a lot of sweaters are designed to be knit flat, instead of round, because the side seams provide structure, and as I look at the picture of the Bella...

OK, here is the original post from Intoxyk8 for the slip one purlwise instead of YO on ALL odd or wrong side rows. She made a perfect cgart for this too....look back to July13th post at 8:28PM (that's what mine says anyway) from intoxyk8 she has a...

Row 1 (WS) starts bottom left, row 2 (RS) starts bottom right. On the WS there is 'purl 2 together', on the RS there is 'SSK' The best way to start with a YO is the BACKWARD YO: with the yarn in back, lift the yarn over the needle and...

Here's my first two repeats on the bottom band. On size 6 I'm getting 3.5" for two repeats instead of 3" so I'm going to have to go down to Size 5 or Size 4 needles. However the washed up Reynolds "Saucy" is doing just...

OK, I'll see if I can help you.....Knit into the stitch but don't drop it off the left needle, wrap thw yarn around the right needle in the same way you wrap if you were knitting any stitch (bring yarn under right ndl and over top of rt ndl),...
