I am currently employed at Wolfe and Polovin. I have been knitting for a little more than 4 years. I took 2 semesters of training at a local community college where I had an incredible instructor. The group was small, about 8 women and we shared patterns and ideas. With less than a year of knitting under my belt, I made scarves for every family member for Christmas and then used a pattern for a knitted square to make an entire throw for my sister and her husband. I have since taken free patterns I find on different web sites and pull out portions of them to create my own patterns for baby blankets, or throws. I would love to be part of a knitting group in my area because I still feel limited in what I have learned and really would like to learn from more experienced knitters. I live just outside of Chicago in a near northwest suburb close to O'Hare Airport.
