I have been knitting since my latter teen years. I knitted for my two daughters since they were small. If I couldn't get a pattern to come out like it was suppose to I would modify it. I ended up with some originals, but I couldn't knit it again in the same way. I never knitted for my two sons, but some of their children now have items that I made them. I am in my 60's and enjoy seeing the younger women knitting for their friends and families.
