Just started knitting again after nearly 20 years away. Dad’s an
incessant knitter (since age six!). I finally caught the bug upon
visiting Spring Wools in Dublin last fall. What a superb shop! Am an avid paper crafter (stamping, card
making, quilling) and I used to counter-cross stitch like a
madwoman…before the need for reading glasses that is. Am having fun with
the knitting; it’s all about choosing and matching colors and patterns,
much like card making, so it’s not surprising that I’m hooked again.
Brings me back to the years of macrame my mom and I did with G.S. in the
70s and 80s. Funny life’s little circle. Am making my 12th sweater since 10/2010!
