Have crocheted since age 6. Self taught knitter. Prefer crocheting mostly because I find knitting needles cumbersome and always in the way, however am seriously knitting more trying 7" needles and circular needles to overcome this problem. It is still slow but am becoming more comfortable with using the short knitting needles for small or narrow projects and Cicular's for larger projects. Other interests are gardening (herbs and flowers mostly), reading, Beading/Jewlry, stained glass and hot glass work. My passion is porcelain painting - do oil and acrilic and am attempting watercolor as well.
In addition to my daughter & her husband, I have 3 grandsons, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister & brother, and two dogs.
