    depends, most people say that if a pattern says "pickup" it means pickup and knit. on any pattern, if picking up on the right side, knit,,,, if from the wrong side, purl. this pattern does ends with two purl stiches at the center front and I sometimes find that harder to pickup stitches on the front, but easier from the back, so I did the

    haven't read all the posts... but don't see anyone else knitting from top down. that is what I have started and so far its going very well. I am using yarn from my stash, black Payton's wool. I have just joined fronts and back and can now continue knitting in one piece till the end. I too questioned neck size and length and have made some

    Hi! What a great project! I'm wondering though, the pattern is an eproject.... what is the format? I ask because I got a new "NOOK" ereader for christmas and if the project is in a PDF format, or some few others, I can load it (from my computer) in the NOOK and use that vs printing it out so I can be portable. thanks in advance: RB
