  • B-17 WWII Bomber Pot Holder

Here’s another potholder for my brother who is a WWII history buff and particularly has a passion for the history of the WWII airplanes and how the ingenuity of their design and special features helped win the war. The interesting part of the project was trying to develop the pattern so B-17 read...

  • Arrowhead Camisole - Summer 2012

I love this top! It turned out just the way I was hoping it would. I made some mods to the shape etc., but it was a quick and easy pattern. Great tank for summer. If you'd like to see more pictures and the whole knitting process including i-cord tutorial, you can check out my blog: http://www.uniquedizigns...

  • Baby Sidewinder

Knit with Lyon Brand Cotton Ease in Lake. Little Baby Sheep Buttons in white. Washable and soft and was the easiest little thing to make. I swapped out the crochet trim with an attached I-cord trim all around neck, front and bottom edges. I used less than 2 full skeins, each skein was 207 yds.

I'm not as good with crochet as I am with knitting, but these were not that hard to make. I think they are very cute,...

  • 50's Baby Saque Sweater

Here's a cute vintage pattern from the 50's or 60's, knitted in pink cotton. The saque sweater is great cuz it fits a wide range of ages 3-12 months. I got this pattern as a photocopy from my grandmother. Who is the one who taught me to knit, by the way!
