This is so embarrassing. How many posts have I written about putting a lifeline in one's lace knitting? Maybe you could be gentle and just not answer that. Because I could go back and count the lifeline posts myself..I'm going to guess there's at least three of them, probably more like five...

Slip two stitches knitwise one at a time (Figure 1). Insert point of left needle into front of two slipped stitches and knit them together through back loops with right needle (Figure 2).
Holding yarn in front, slip two stitches knitwise one at a time onto right needle (Figure 1). Slip them back onto left needle and purl the two stitches together through back loops (Figure 2). Fig. 1 Fig. 2
This decrease produces a fairly pronouced left-slanting decrease. Slip one stitch knitwise, knit the next stitch, and then use the point of the left needle to pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch and off the right needle.
