I have been weaving since 1996 and have been a member of a number of weavers guild in the Okanagan Valley, Kamloops area and now southern Vancouver Island. I'm past president of the Guild of Canadian Weavers.
I have two looms: 12 shaft Woolhouse Tools countermarche and a 12 shaft Louet Spring. I enjoy structure and finer threads, usually natural fibres such as silks, cottons and linen. I also spin and try my hand at silk warp painting, dabble in bobbin lace and beading. I love it all!
