While I learned to crochet as a young girl, I found knitting far too slow for me. That is until I learned to knit continental. I rowed out and avoid SS until I discovered combination knitting - thanks to Annie Modesitt. Both a blessing and a curse - I live in the Twin Cities - home to many yarn stores! I've made a good start at building a stash beyond life expectancy! I started a knitting group a few years ago, but when the group decided to meet over an hour away I had to quit. I'd love to find another closer to home. I've always got some toe-up socks on 1 or 2 circs in my bag!
