My grandma taught me to knit when I was little. Then I forgot. Then when my son was tiny I taught myself. That was about 25 years ago. I knit very well, and spin like the beginner I am. I love teaching little people to knit. About 20 third graders locally are carrying around their knitting on the playground. I'd love to spin enough naturally different colored wool to make myself a "from scratch" fair isle sweater. I love doing multiple stranded color work and lace. Carpal tunnel syndrome kept me away from knitting for nearly a decade, but I have healed enough and slowly retaught myself to knit without doing damage.
